General Eyecare
It really is important to have your eyes examined regularly. The ability to see is such a fundamental part of our lives and a full eye examination will help keep your vision in the best possible condition. We are committed to providing a comprehensive eye examination and building a long term relationship with our patients, many of whom have become firm friends over the years.
One reason why regular eye examinations are necessary is that your vision changes over time. This can happen so gradually that you may not even notice it. If changing eye sight is not corrected it can lead to “tired eyes” and even headaches, especially as you get older, or if you do a lot of close work, computer use, reading and driving.
An eye examination at this practice covers much more than just making sure you have the right optical prescription and spectacles. We also check the health of your eyes for often hidden problems such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, signs of high blood pressure and possible diabetes. Early detection increases the chances of successful treatment.
As part of our commitment to offer you the highest standards of professional care we have recently invested in the latest Topcon / Nikon Retinal Imaging equipment, Keeler Digital Tonometer, Topcon Computerised Test Chart and Rodenstock Digital Lens Analyser.
